Gallery
Welcome to my gallery! This is where I post past and present work. Some have found homes with people who appreciate the kind of art I create (hooray!!!) and some are still hanging out with me. If you find that you have just the right space for any of them, let me know! For now I ship mostly within the US. Hopefully I will be able to ship overseas soon as well.

Mirea Art Doll
Mirea is first in the series of art dolls for my 2024 project. Her head, neck, and chest are made of Cosclay. Her body and limbs are fabric. Take a closer look at everything on the blog.

Jeremy
Jeremy is a crocheted doll designed by @Nina.hookcreations. His little giraffe toy is my own needle-felted creation. Jeremy was quickly adopted at the Christmas Bazaar even before the bazaar officially opened!

Sophie the Ninja
Embroidery on canvas with teabag backgrounds. She now hangs in the real Sophie's home!

Sampaguita Vendor
Air dry clay, fabric, paper mache, synthetic hair. Available.

My Fragonard Lady
Inspired by Fragonard fragrances, she is made of Cosclay and fabric. The plant is also Cosclay. The little books and magazines are handmade.

Lola Basyang
Sort of a Lola Basyang--I don't think those whimsical glasses were around then! She's Cosclay and fabric. The cane rocker was inspired by one that my great grandmother owned. She's now part of a collection owned by Mrs. Carmen B.

Hummingbird
From an online class with Eli Milan that allowed me to return to a long-abandoned practice--actually painting on canvas and canvas boards. When I took this class, I didn't even have anything other than my usual watercolor and mixed media papers so I grabbed an old painting and covered it with gesso.

Coloring My World
I tend to collect magazines until I realize they've taken over precious space. When that happens, I go over the pages and tear out the ones that have images that resonate with me. After the hummingbird painting, I wanted to keep going. For reference, I dug through my pile of tear outs and that's how this one came to be. Still painted with acrylics.

She Captured A Feeling
My favorite so far. Most of those who have seen it tell me they feel the joy and freedom without my having told them that those feelings were exactly (EXACTLY) what I wanted to convey. The title has nothing to do with me, though. It's from a line in the song The Audition (LaLa Land): "She captured a feeling, a sky with no ceiling, a sunset inside a frame."

The original is sold but you can get art prints here.

Writer's Block Remedy
My son had sent several photos of his family having a fun day out. I needed to do a painting and decided to use this one from the set. At the last minute, I decided to use strips of paper from an old book. I showed it to his younger brother who said it was like someone trying to get rid of writer's block by ingesting all those words. And that's how the title came about!
